Thing 7 and 8
OK, I have tried a zillion times to download jing and it just doesn't work on my computer. I am unable to complete these things, not for lack of trying!

Thing 3 and 4
I signed up for skype a while ago, but today I actually made a call after Andrea contacted me! I had to use my daughter's computer with a mic and she had to help me get it working so Andrea could hear me. After that all went well! We only used audio since she was on a headset. I could see using this in a classroom to talk with classrooms across the state, nation, or the world for different topics. Learning a foreign language could be fun while trying to talk with a student whose language you are learning as they learn English. The reception and mic capabilities would need to be good so everything is clear. I could see using Skype to talk with someone about OT issues in a different area. My son used it at work to talk to someone in Germany about a physics question he had!

Thing 6
I tried to do comiqs, but the site did not allow it at the time. It looks fun to use one of my pics, so I will try again another time. I did a toondo instead. Check it out at http://www.toondoo.com/cartoon/1988855 I think a classroom could use comiqs and toondoo for a student who needs to create a topic to write on. Some of our students with autism have difficulty when given a topic by someone else and with this they could create a picture that makes sense to them, therefore they may have more to say about it. I can see this being used in language arts. I cannot see its use in other subjects, but I am not a teacher. A concern I would have is that the students could easily get off topic and waste classroom time.
